To expand our innovative team in the Quantum Technologies business unit, we are looking for a motivated full-time Product Manager for Laser Phase & Frequency Stabilization.
In this position, you will be significantly involved in the development of our high-precision laser systems. You will be responsible for the product management of lasers with short linewidths < 1 Hz and phase and frequency stabilization modules.
Product Manager Laser Phase & Frequency Stabilization
Your main tasks:
- Independent product management for the following innovative laser products:
- Cavity-stabilized lasers with short linewidths down to < 1 Hz
- Modules for phase and frequency stabilization of lasers
- Product ownership throughout the entire product lifecycle:
- Market observation (trends, competitor analysis)
- Identification of new product ideas, also in coordination with partners
- Continuous interaction with product development
- Ongoing product support (marketing plans, operational implementation)
- Product controlling (sales, budget, profit, forecasting, ...)
- Strategic development of products in your area of responsibility
- Close cooperation with the international sales and marketing department
- Active involvement in shaping the strategic direction of the Quantum Technologies business unit
You have...
- a degree or doctorate in laser technology, ideally with experience in the development of (ultra)narrowband laser sources
- ideally professional experience in product or project management, preferably in industry
- the analytical and methodical ability to combine signals from the market and technology into a coherent product strategy and drive new product ideas forward
- Ideally product and application knowledge in the field of quantum technologies in order to recognize trends and be able to implement them in product developments in a well-founded manner
- strong communication skills, diplomatic skills and team spirit to successfully integrate internal and external partners
- strong market orientation and creativity to support the sales organization
- enthusiasm for innovative technologies and enjoy presenting, both within the company and to customers
- experience in dealing with high-ranking scientists
- very good written and spoken English skills
